The below guidance only applies to the Konica Minolta printer/copier Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) deployed at Engineering sites.
Printer locations
The intention with the distribution of MFDs is to maintain reasonable access for everyone, including facilities for A3 printing, within every building across the Department.

Toner replacement
- If the local Konica Minolta printer in your area has run out of toner and is requesting a replacement please e-mail print-room@eng.cam.ac.uk
- Print Room staff will either attend to replace the toner or advise on how to proceed with obtaining and installing a replacement
- Please include the location of the printer as well as which toner(s) or consumables need replacing
- Please only contact the Print Room when the toner is empty, we do not need to be made aware of ‘low’ toner warnings as the devices order their own
Paper replenishment
- If the local Konica Minolta printer in your area has run out of paper please either go to the Print Room to collect more, or e-mail print-room@eng.cam.ac.uk to request assistance with obtaining paper or arranging delivery to West Cambridge Sites.
- Please do not take more paper than is required
Fault Reporting
- If the local Konica Minolta printer in your area has an error message or a fault please e-mail print-room@eng.cam.ac.uk
- Please include full details about the problem including photos of any on-screen errors or print quality issues
- Please include the location of the printer
