Facilities and Equipment

All lecture and seminar spaces are fitted with a data projector, PC, visualizer/overhead acetate projector, speakers and laptop inputs as standard. Larger spaces contain additional resources such as dual displays and wireless microphones.

 

Additional Equipment

Additional equipment may be available with advance booking on a first come first served basis. Further details can be found via the Equipment Loans section of this website or by contacting av-support@eng.cam.ac.uk

 

Booking a room

Room bookings are made via the Lecture Theatre and Meeting Room Booking System. Any queries related to room bookings should be made with Reception.
 

Emergency Support

If you require immediate assistance during a lecture, seminar or meeting please use the nearby telephone and contact 32660. All lecture rooms have a telephone present for this purpose which is usually placed close to the lectern and has visible contact details. If we are out of the office the call will forward onto our mobile phones – please let the phone ring a little longer to ensure there is time for this transfer to take place.

 

For some of our recently refurbished systems, we may be able to resolve the problem remotely. In other cases, we will pay a visit to the room. Please note that during term we may be dealing with a number of emergencies at once – if so, we will notify you of our expected arrival during the phone call.
