Access to Ansys Academic Research CFD software is available on a cost basis only. A job/grant number must be provided for payment.

The cost to access Ansys is currently £120 per annum, with a fixed subscription year from 1st December to 30th November. If you want to begin a new subscription partway through the year, pro rata charges will be applied.

Ansys Academic Research CFD – older versions of Ansys Academic Research CFD can be utilised back to version 17.2 if required.

Software media is stored on \\diva-appserv\ansys. Access to this network share is given on request following payment.

How do you run it:
Access to Ansys is via ANSYS Workbench. If using ICEM CFD please turn off meshing tools in Tools / User Preferences in Workbench.
