Access to license pool for Engineering users:
Access to a license (seats and tokens) costs £120 per year, with the license running from 1st November – 31st October. Licenses bought mid-year will be sold on a pro-rota basis (£10 per month). Users will have access to the general pool of licenses and tokens, so if on a rare occassion a license/token isn’t available they will need to wait until one is.
Please contact itsd-admin@eng.cam.ac.uk with details of how many licenses are required, which CRSids will have access to them and a source of funds.
Reserved use and Users external to the Department of Engineering:
Research groups, individuals and Cambridge University users external to the Department can buy reserved licenses and tokens for their sole use. The cost of a reserved license will be different to those available in the general pool of licenses, please contact itsd-admin@eng.cam.ac.uk with details of how many seats and tokens are required and a list of CRSids to discuss costs/arrange reserved use.
Teaching/undergraduate use:
A teaching license is freely available to all undergraduates and those involved in teaching. There is no cost, but the license doesn’t have the greater functionality of the full research suite license.
Installation instructions
Please note that you will be unable to access the licence server without having paid for a licence. Your CRSid needs to be on the list of accounts allowed to access ABAQUS

All ABAQUS users accessing the research license will be automatically added to the abaqus-users mailing list. If you do not wish to receive information relating to Abaqus events, updates, training opportunities or peer support you can unsubscribe at any time.
