If you currently use Outlook, please use the following instructions to set up Outlook to access your new Exchange Online mailbox:

To access an Exchange Online mailbox, you must be using Outlook 2016 or above.

Please note: If you currently use Outlook to access your Hermes mailbox, please remove these accounts from Outlook before completing the instructions below.

1. Open Outlook and click ‘File’, as below:
   
2. Click ‘Add Account’, as below:
   
3. An Add Account window will appear, enter your CRSid@cam.ac.uk email address and your Raven password. Click ‘Next’, as below:
   
4. Once the account has been successfully setup, click ‘Finish’, as below:
   
5. A warning window will then appear to say that Outlook must be restarted for the changes to take effect. Click ‘OK’, as below:
   
6. Close Outlook by clicking the ‘X’ at the top right of the window, as below:
   
7. Re-open Outlook to view your new Exchange Online mailbox.

If you have never used Outlook before, please use the following instructions to set up Outlook to access your new Exchange Online mailbox:

To access an Exchange Online mailbox, you must be using Outlook 2016 or above.

1. Open Outlook 365, you should see the following window:
   
2. Enter your email address and click ‘Connect’, as below:
   
3. A University of Cambridge sign in window should appear. Enter your Raven password and click ‘Sign in’, as below:
   
4. Once the account has been successfully setup, click ‘Done’ as below:
   

If you have never used Outlook before, please use the following instructions to set up Outlook to access your new Exchange Online mailbox:

To access an Exchange Online mailbox, you must be using Outlook 2016 or above.

1. Open Outlook 2016, you should see a welcome message. Click ‘Next’, as below:
   
2. An Add an Email Account window will appear. Select ‘Yes’ and then click ‘Next’, as below:
   
3. On the next window enter your CRSid@cam.ac.uk email address, your Raven password and click ‘Next’, as below:
   
4. Once the account has been successfully setup, click ‘Finish’ as below:
   

To access your new mailbox via OWA, go to https://outlook.office.com/ and log in with the following credentials:

Email address	CRSid@cam.ac.uk (Alumni should use CRSid@cantab.ac.uk)
Account type	Work or School account
Password	Raven password

Please note: You can copy and paste your signature from an old email in your ‘Sent Items’ folder.

Please note: Exchange Online uses the ‘Sent Items’ folder.

1. Select one of the emails within the sent folder you wish to move the emails from and then press Ctrl+A to select all of the emails within that folder.
2. Once all the emails are selected, you can drag and drop them into the ‘Sent Items’ folder.
