Users’ files  on the central computing system are backed up each night, with copies keat for for previous days and months. This provides backup for files in home directories on that system. For larger amounts of data, there is a central facility to provide the automatic backing up of data from any unix or windows computer that is not currently part of a back up regime. Any member of staff wishing to use this should contact the IT Helpdesk.
