The Engineering Department’s Central Computing System comprises the set of computers used for the bulk of undergraduate computer based teaching as well as a number of other machines providing a variety of Departmental services. The Central Computing System is spread across two rooms; the DPO and the EIETL. The DPO has 128 computers and the EIETL has 91. Each computer has two operating systems on it; Linux and Windows.
When not being used for teaching, the system is available to be used by any member of the department. To see when facilities are free for general use please check the timetables.
